Canmore Rock Climbing

The Canadian Rockies Adventure Centre offers half- and full-day rock climbing lessons in the Banff, Canmore and Lake Louise areas by request. Lessons cater to all abilities, beginner to advanced. Lessons can be booked by individuals, families or groups. The Canadian Rockies Adventure Centre also offers a wide range of exciting adventures year-round in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. During summer months, activities offered include wildlife viewing, cave tours river rafting, guided hiking and more. In the winter, activities such as ice walks, snowmobiling, ice fishing and ice climbing are featured. Adventures are offered in a variety of locations including Banff, Canmore, Kananaskis Country, Golden and Icefields Parkway region.

Panache Experiences offers guided climbing excurions in the Western Canadian mountains. They speciale in catering trips to match each person's abilities. There is a climb for all abilities.

Yamnuska Mountain Adventures provides half-, full- and multi-day adventures in mountaineering, ice and rock climbing, trekking and backcountry skiing. Experience the real and rugged Rockies, up-close-and-personal, with certified guides.

This easy to moderate hiking trails starts at the Grotto Mountain trailhead and leads into a narrow, limestone canyon that is also popular with rock climbers. At the end of the canyon, hikers can proceed a short distance to a waterfall or can continue up to a wide valley of hoodoos.

CRAG's skilled guides can deliver a great time and rapid skill development while showing participants the best rock and ice climbing in the range. All experience levels welcome. Guides are ACMG certified.
