    Known as an outdoor wedding location, Riverside Park offers views of the Bow River, Ha Ling Peak, and the Three Sisters. Located near downtown Canmore, the park offers picnic tables, walking trails and plenty of green space. The park is available for rent for events and special occasions.

    Millennium Park
    This scenic sports park is an ideal site for baseball, football, soccer, and rugby sports events. Park amenities include a multi-use field with bleachers and player benches, a senior league ball diamond complete with dugouts, an automated score board, and a skate pond. Public washrooms and change room are also located on site.

    Centennial Park
    Centennial Park is an outdoor sports park featuring a soccer field, a running track, a long jump pit, and children’s playground. The Stan Rogers Stage, which hosts a wide range of outdoor concert events, is also located here. Public washroom facilities are also available.

    Sunshine Meadows
    Found 30 km (19 mi) west of Canmore near Banff National Park's Continental Divide, Sunshine Meadows is a natural garden set amidst mountain and lake scenery. Accessed only by the Sunshine Meadows Alpine Shuttle, this wildflower field blooms into colour in mid-June and offers visitors with opportunities to view wildlife and hike a number of trails.

    Rotary Friendship Park
    Rotary Friendship Park came about as a shared project between the Rotary Club, Canmore and the town’s sister city of Hagashikawa in Japan. Located across the street from the town’s Civic Centre, the park features green space in the downtown area, a gazebo, a historic mine car, and picnic tables.

    Elk Run Diamonds
    Elk Run Diamonds features multiple ball diamonds and is often the site for Canmore baseball tournaments. The park offers three little league and slow pitch diamonds complete with bleachers and dugouts. Public washrooms are available as well as a concession stand.

    Quarry Lake Park
    This popular recreation area surrounds Quarry Lake and offers views of Mount Lady MacDonald and Ha Ling Peak. While there are no lifeguards on duty, the lake is often used for swimming during the summer months. Other park features include public washrooms, 5 km of hiking trails, a sandy beach area, and a designated off-leash section for dogs.
