Canmore ArtSPeak Arts Festival is a festive weekend long event celebrating all things creative and artistic in the mountains. With many free and colorful events happening, there is sure to be something for people of all ages to participate in. The Canmore Folk Music Festival is Alberta's longest-running folk festival. Held on the Heritage Day long weekend (Saturday through Monday the first weekend in August), the festival has become one of the most successful "happenings" in Canmore's annual calendar.

The Vic Lewis International Band Festival is a non-competitive music festival that welcomes school bands from Alberta to come out and perform and attend workshops. Festivities will be held at Canmore Collegiate High and the Canmore Recreation Centre. Evening gala performances will be held at the Oh Canada, Eh?! Theatre.
