"The Valley Winds Music Association presents their annual Big Band Dance on March 25th at the Coast Hotel. This is your chance to hear the Big Band Sounds of Midnight Blue from Calgary and our very own Big Band. So put on your dancing shoes and come and dance the night away with these two great bands.

Sunshine Village Ski Resort in Banff, Alberta will host RMASC's annual ShredAbility, an all mountain Scavenger Hunt & fundraising event held on Sunday March 15 2015. All money raised will go towards Rocky Mountain Adaptive Sports Centre and its life changing programs. To enter, each team of 2 will need to raise a minimum of $400. Prizing will be awarded to the top fundraising teams, as well as fastest & slowest team, best costume and many more!

The day will include ski and snowboarding at the fantastic Sunshine Village, lift ticket, breakfast, lunch, a fun Scavenger Hunt, adaptive challenges, a cash bar, silent auction and prize giving!

With 5km, 10km and Mountain Half Marathon races, the Rocky Mountain Soap Women's Walk & Run attracts over health-oriented women looking for a unique and active weekend experience with the women in their lives. The World Solo 24 Hour Championship mountain-biking event is held in Canmore during July. The race includes a figure eight course at the Canmore Nordic Centre which can be well viewed along the way by cheering spectators. This much-anticipated event attracts 1,400 athletes, competing in teams, and about 3,000 spectators.

Local artists from the St. Andrews Heights Artists' Society will present their new work at the society's annual Spring Art Show and Sale on Saturday, April 23, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Original works of art in a wide variety of media and styles will be available for purchase.
